7 Mount Kilimanjaro Marangu Route Climb

The Marangu Route, often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is Mount Kilimanjaro’s oldest and most established trail. It is the only route that offers overnight accommodation in mountain huts rather than tents, making it an excellent option for climbers seeking added comfort. The route ascends and descends via the same trail, passing through lush rainforest, heathland, alpine moorland, and the spectacular arctic summit zone. The 7-day itinerary includes an extra acclimatization day at Horombo Hut, significantly increasing the chances of a successful summit.
