The drive takes around six hours, but it never feels long, the scenery is constantly shifting, from wooded hills to sweeping savannahs, each turn revealing something new. As the plains begin to stretch endlessly before you, there’s a palpable sense of arrival, this is the Serengeti. We pause along the way for a packed lunch, then continue straight into our first game drive. The adventure begins immediately, with exciting chances to spot hyenas, lions, elephants, and great herds moving gracefully across the golden grasslands.
