8-Day Rwanda & Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Safari

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by Usari Safaris and Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and overnight at Heaven Boutique Hotel (BB)
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Kigali, including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, and artisan craft centres. Afterwards, drive through Rwanda's scenic countryside to Volcanoes National Park, enjoy dinner and overnight at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge (BLD)
Following an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your unforgettable mountain gorilla trek. After spending one magical hour with a gorilla family, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Iby'Iwacu Cultural Village to experience traditional Rwandan dances, music, local customs and community life, enjoy your dinner and overnight at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge (BLD)

After breakfast, cross the Rwanda Uganda border and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages along the way. Reach your lodge check in and wind up the day at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge (BLD)

Start the day with an early morning game drive in search of elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kob, hyenas, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large populations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge (BLD)

After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (FB)
Enjoy another once in a lifetime gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After your trek and lunch, visit the Batwa community to learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the forest's original inhabitants through music, storytelling, and cultural performances, after the day return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (FB)
After breakfast, drive back to Kigali, crossing the Rwanda–Uganda border. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your onward journey.
